Hotel Suma

Yeni made my stay really pleasant, so a big thank you to her and to all the friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is a calm, relaxing place with beautiful gardens and a pool. My room was spacious and very clean, the AC worked well, and the hot water was properly hot. The restaurant has a nice range of food, and breakfast was good too. There’s a hotel Spa where you can get a relaxing massage. The beach is just two minutes away, and you can watch amazing sunsets there with a cool drink from the local vendors.

The garden is beautifully laid out, with a nice swimming pool, and we had a great time here every time. The rooms are super beautiful and spacious, with a beautiful new bathroom. Staff are terrific: ask for something and they arrange it right away, always with a smile. Breakfast was delicious, especially the tastiest bread. Step outside and the dolphin trip is just around the corner, a one-minute walk away.

The garden is stunning and the food was delicious. We’ll definitely miss this place and hope to return soon. Suma has big rooms and a lovely new bathroom, plus a very nice pool. The staff are kind and helpful. Yeni, the manager, is always smiling and happy to have a good talk. She helped us so much, and we’re really grateful for her service.

The location was a big plus for us. The hotel is right in front of the beach, with restaurants, cafés, and supermarkets all within walking distance. From reception we booked a dolphin watching, swimming, and snorkeling tour, and it was well organized. They can also arrange taxis, which was convenient. The staff were especially lovely. My family and I felt very welcome, and the restaurant team were attentive, patient, friendly, and charismatic, with very good English and a willingness to listen. We stayed two nights in superior rooms, my partner, my father-in-law, and me. After nearly three months travelling around Indonesia and staying at hotels on different islands, I’d say this really earns its five-star value for money. The rooms were very clean, and the bedsheets, towels, furniture, A/C, fan, and fridge were all in good working order. The towels did feel a little worn, though. The pool and garden are beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The decoration and structure have an authentic Balinese style. Breakfast had tea, coffee, juices, water, seasonal fruit, toast, banana bread, and hot choices such as pancakes or eggs. I found it more than enough, especially since you can have more if you like. I’d have liked to stay longer and would definitely come back. I highly recommend the place.
