Lilacita Beach Lovina

The beach is very close, and the rooms are decent. The prices might be a little high.

The breakfasts were tasty, freshly made each morning, and the option was well worth adding when we booked through Agoda. For a couple of nights, this place was fine and fairly priced for what we got. It's an older, dated property, and the furniture and facilities aren't top quality, but everything worked. The AC was good. The shower took a while to warm up, and the water got warm but not hot. The stone shower floor was an unusual touch. We saw a few little ants, but not many. There was only one outlet in the room, and it was nearly falling out of the wall, so the owner brought us a power strip. Our room was right by the water and had a nice view. There were lots of adorable kittens around, too. I believe the owner also runs and arranges dolphin watching tours, so other guests came through the dining area before and after their morning trips. Lovina beach is close, though we rented a scooter to get around more comfortably. A decent place to stay.

Two rooms cost just $20, so $10 apiece, and the food was priced perfectly too. Everything felt like good value. It was a great time with friendly smiles, photos, greenery, dolphins, snorkeling, deep blue water, and jellyfish, which were scary, yeah. There was a bit of that Asian dirtiness, of course; things aren't as clean as in Turkey or other European countries. Still, this is a must-visit place if you're in Bali.

The rooms are very basic, and there was no hot water, fridge, or toilet paper. It was hard to understand the people there.
