The rooms are newly renovated, clean, and nice, and they have hot water too. Asuk was very hospitable and kind, really humble. My one wish is for bigger twin beds, since these are only size 80 and I’d prefer 100 or 120. The price is unbeatable, but book early because online rates go up as more rooms get booked.

The service was awful and the food tasted terrible. The room flooded, and water leaked through the roof and walls. The place is dirty, old, and even felt haunted. Its outdoor pool was basically a puddle of rainwater. For the same price, you can find a better hotel in town. This might suit a very tight budget, but it felt more like a motel or hostel than a hotel. Worst stay in Singkawang.

Food is easy to find nearby, and the location is right in the city center, inside the traditional market, lol. The room was okay and cheap. Cars have a bit of trouble getting in because it’s down an alley, but the place itself is easy to locate.

At 150ribu a night with the promo, it’s a great pick. The parking is big, the place is new and clean, and the surroundings are good. Choose a ground-floor room, and you’ll have an easy time finding food. Five stars, and avoid rajawali hotel.
