I loved having so many food options just outside Cendhani Raras Gallery, especially around Jakal and Condong Catur. The rooftop cafe was another highlight, with a lovely view of Mount Merapi over morning coffee or in the afternoon. My stay did have a cleanliness issue, though. I started in a Standard room, where I found the bed uncomfortable and the room not clean enough for me. Switching to a Deluxe made a huge difference: it was cleaner, and I slept much better. If the location and rooftop view appeal to you, I'd book Deluxe or above.

I spent a day here for a yoga event at We Love Youth. The rooftop was a comfortable spot to order coffee and get some work done.

The staff were friendly, and the room was spacious, clean, and nice. When the AC in room 205 wasn't cooling properly, the receptionist quickly helped by moving me to another room. I sometimes had to wait around to find the mas, since he wasn't always at his station. I'd definitely come back. The cafe and its rooftop area are comfortable too.
