The pool was a real pleasure, with an exotic view of Merapi and Merbabu. The hotel is conveniently located near Monjali, and the room and cleanliness were good enough for my one-night stay. The food could be better, especially the chicken dishes, which had an unpleasant smell. Maybe the meat wasn't marinated properly before cooking. Still, it's a nice place to stay when visiting Jogja.

I came to swim on the 19th floor, not to stay overnight. The swim cost just 100,000 Rupiah per adult, which was very affordable. Arfi at reception greeted me with a warm smile and explained everything about swimming. I really enjoyed swimming at Indoluxe Hotel Jogjakarta. Thanks, Arfi and Indoluxe Hotel Jogjakarta.

The delivery rules made this one of my worst hotel stays, and I won't come back or recommend it. Riders aren't allowed past the security post, even when bringing food or urgent medicine, so guests have to walk outside to collect deliveries, even in the rain. Management seems not to care about guests' comfort or basic needs. Security could check the riders and let them bring things to the lobby, but instead the whole process is unnecessarily difficult. Poor management and no understanding of hospitality.

The staff and service were good, and I found the hotel good overall. The bathroom in the fifth-floor rooms smelled, though. Maybe management should check all the rooms on that floor.

At 00.31 after midnight, cigarette smoke from the next room was coming through the connecting door into our room, even though this was a non-smoking floor. The receptionist we complained to couldn't do anything. At 1.12, we were finally moved to a newer, cleaner room on another floor. The smoker should logically have been removed from the non-smoking floor, but we were too tired to wait for the smoke to clear from the connecting door, so we chose to move.
