For the price, this was a comfortable stay. The room was clean and smelled nice, and mine happened to have Netflix. The service was friendly too.

The location is really convenient, close to the monument and just straight down the alley. The bathroom was clean and the AC kept the room cool. The rooms are fairly spacious, with comfortable beds even for one person, and the staff were friendly. They also let us know the TV wasn’t available because of a lightning strike. One of the better RedDoorz in Yogyakarta.

The service was okay, but the rooms felt far from original and most of the facilities were disappointing. The bathroom smelled, and the only thing that worked was the air conditioning. The TV wouldn’t turn on, and neither would the hot water. When the power went out, they said the electric kettle couldn’t boil water because the supply wasn’t strong enough with a refrigerator there. If the power can’t handle that, why provide so many facilities? I won’t stay here again.

The facilities were really lacking, though the service was okay. Wi-Fi worked and the chest freezer was fine, but the regular TV wouldn’t turn on. We were first given a room on the 2nd floor, where the AC wasn’t cold at all even when set to cold, so after we complained they advised us to move. The place itself was dirty: the stairs and yard were filthy, the room smelled, the wardrobe was moldy, and the sheets didn’t smell clean. The bathroom and shower were dirty too. The toilet wobbled like it might come off the floor, there was nowhere to hang the shower jet, the door lock stuck, and the bathroom door was hard to open and close. Not worth it.
