Retra’s was a nice, homey place in a good central spot in Jogja. During the five months I stayed there on exchange, Kristy & her family and her staff were really sweet and accommodating. They even had a cake ready for my birthday 🥹 The room got cleaned weekly and came with fresh linen, and I enjoyed playing with the cats every evening. Thanks Kristy & fam and her staff for making my time in Jogja such a pleasant experience! 🤍

The outside area was a lovely place to sit and relax, and the little kitchen had everything I needed. Both the room and hostel were very clean. The owner and her little son are really nice people. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. Thanks so much for having me!

The price is really affordable, and there’s a nice outdoor spot to sit and relax. It’s in Kaliurang, a nice quiet area, and not too far from the city center. The hostel and its surroundings are very clean. I really like this place! The four-person room is super comfortable and nice, with a big, beautiful, clean private bathroom.

I came by for a day trip, and it’s such good quality for a low-budget hostel. It’s really quiet and not crowded at all. Too bad it doesn’t get much publicity for such a great place. People should know about it! It’s near kaliurang, which is good if you want a culinary trip in Yogyakarta. The service is +++++👍👍
