Urbanview TWH Costel near Stadion Maguwoharjo Yogyakarta

The place itself is comfortable and clean, but I couldn't get much cooperation from the receptionist. The hotel phone number was unclear and hard to reach. They should be more responsive to customers.

Being away from the city center is the main drawback. Still, if you can't find a hotel downtown, this one is worth considering, especially with the campus nearby and plenty of places to get dinner. Parking for both motorcycles and cars was fine. The room was decent, and since the hotel is new, things still seem in good shape. The bed and bathroom were okay, the AC worked well, and there was a wardrobe with a lock. I think the TV was smart and could access Netflix or YouTube. There weren't enough power outlets, though. The free hotel WiFi was a bit slow and seemed to disconnect often.

The room looks nice and clean since it's new, and an extra bed costs 150 per bed. But there were several issues. The AC points straight at the bed and left my body aching, while its drain water just runs into the bathroom. The bathroom tiles were dirty, slippery, and slimy, like they hadn't been cleaned properly. The TV cable was also wrong.

It's a little out of the way, down an alley and some distance from Malioboro. The hotel itself was a pleasant surprise: clean, with new furnishings and roomy bedrooms. They provided soap and a toothbrush, and the staff were friendly.
