We were only there for a few hours between our flight and ferry, though we'd booked an overnight stay. They let us check in early, and the staff were very friendly. There was nothing much around the hotel. When my travel companion got sick, I asked for another room key so she could sleep without being disturbed, but they wouldn't bring one up. There was only one key, and it had to stay in the power slot. I also asked for an extra towel and a mug, and got a no to both. When we left, the key wouldn't operate the lift, so I had to persuade someone to come up and activate it for us.

Breakfast was great, and they serve food through the rest of the day too if you don't feel like going out. The place is simple and cheap, kept clean, and the service is really friendly and helpful. Loved it.

After two weeks in Raja Ampat without air conditioning and with limited electricity, this place felt like a palace. It was clean and spacious, with a great location and good aircon. A little expensive, but worth the money if you'll be somewhere remote for a while before or after your stay.

Rooms facing the sea cost a bit more, but they have good views and no street noise. The hotel is well placed in Sorong, with a 24/7 supermarket and local restaurants very close by. Using Grab car service, anywhere in the city feels close. Reception is staffed 24/7, and the team were always smiling and keen to sort out any issue. The pool is small but nice, and towels are free. I had a non-smoking room, though it seemed odd that the windows were locked. I was told they don't open the windows in non-smoking rooms. The breakfast buffet was good for Indonesian food, with soups, rice and spicy meats. European continental choices were limited to fruit, omelette, bread or waffles. Nice hotel, good value for the price.
