Goutama Homestay

The rooms look nice and are clean, but the rest of the experience was disappointing. Our shower was clogged and drained very slowly, and there’s nowhere to refill a water bottle. Breakfast portions were small and choices limited, while the service was very slow. The staff seemed uninterested and unmotivated. When I asked for a little more coffee, I was told I’d have to pay extra. There was no water, and they didn’t want to help with anything. The service is poor for the price. The hotel has potential, but the service needs serious improvement.

The staff were nice, and breakfast had several options. The homestay is convenient, close to many restaurants and within walking distance of Ubud Palace if you want to visit. It was quiet apart from the river outside our room, though that wasn’t too distracting. There was no water dispenser in our building, so we had to walk a bit farther to the main reception to ask for drinking water. Still, it was a good and convenient place to stay.

Breakfast was amazing, and the homestay also has a restaurant and spa with great prices for all the services. It’s centrally located but still peaceful and quiet, with clean, modern, well-appointed rooms. In my opinion, it’s the best homestay in Bali. I’ll definitely stay again if I’m in Ubud.

A calm, nice stay, with breakfast included and your own balcony with a good view. It’s close to everything, so this was the best purchase ever.
