The listing said there was a free shuttle, but there wasn’t one, and nobody offered an explanation or another option. That felt like a broken promise. The noise was just as bad: nonstop traffic and shouting came straight into the room, with no soundproofing. I couldn’t sleep, rest, or think clearly, and it left me feeling anxious. I know it’s a budget hotel, but that shouldn’t mean an unlivable stay or misleading information. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who needs rest, honesty, or a little peace.

The staff were kind, respectful, and always ready to help. My room was very large, with a big table and chair plus a chaise-longue where I could relax. The bed was really comfortable, and I slept well. Everything was clean. Breakfast had plenty of choice, and some of the food was excellent. I had a very good stay and think it’s great value for money.

The location is convenient, close to the airport and bca bank, and there was no sound from mosques. Breakfast was good, and some rooms have a properly hot shower. The hotel is old and sometimes things aren't cleaned very well, but the staff are nice even though they can't speak English. It wasn't that bad.

The breakfast is a strong point, with decent variety and good quality, and the staff are courteous and helpful. Marit Hotel Sorong is conveniently close to the airport and works as a conference hotel. The rooms show that the place has seen better days, and could use renovation and more cleaning. For the price, it’s an acceptable short stay, especially if you’re passing through.
