We left as quickly as we could after the hotel brushed off a serious safety concern. A man who had harassed my friend came to my door and knocked until I opened it, then tried to force his way inside. I managed to keep him out. When we reported him in person, staff laughed, apologized, said he was probably drunk, and asked if we wanted another night. We absolutely did not. Calls and emails to the contacts listed on Agoda and scraps of paper in the room got no response or had been discontinued. The front office was a five-minute walk down a barren dirt road that looked like a dumping ground. The accommodation didn't match its description: our booked twin room wasn't available, even though that was the only option on Agoda, and even the location was inaccurate. We couldn't cancel, so we took a second room. A motorcycle was parked outside mine, and the same man was hanging around my friend's room and harassing her. The other “rooms,” more like tiny condos, seemed empty. There was no pool, spa, or wifi. It didn't feel safe, and I wondered if this was even still a hotel.

I was here on a work trip, accompanying LMA Malamoi with a grant from my organization. The service was incredibly good, and the location was close to Keik Malamoi, the venue we needed to reach. The rooms and bathrooms need improvement. You have to ask for the room to be cleaned, as they seem to be arranged more like resort units.

We came for a friend's wedding, and the venue was beautiful and suited to a private party. It's also suitable for groups staying together, with different kinds of units available to rent, some with their own swimming pool. The hotel is about 5 kilometres from Domine Eduard Osok airport and around 7 kms from Port of Sorong.

Good if privacy is what you're after. Each cottage-style room is in its own house. The room was okay, and they provide free rides to and from Sorong airport. The hotel is a little far from the city centre.
