Horison Hotel Sukabumi

I found it overpriced. I’ve stayed at Horison in Jakarta, Jogja, and Surabaya, and the standards there were much better than at this one in Sukabumi.

The welcome drinks were excellent, and there were no problems with parking. Room cleanliness was OK. Breakfast needs better menus and a wider range of choices, and pool access should be separated from the restaurant area. A recommended place for family stays and conventions in the Salabintana area of Sukabumi.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean, but I was really dissatisfied with how breakfast was handled. Nobody told us before booking that it would be served in the room. The food was cold and not good, and it wasn’t as complete as promised. Porridge was supposed to be included, but we didn’t get any on the first day. I waited until the second day and still had to ask for it. The Wi-Fi was the biggest disappointment. The connection was so bad, and even after I reported it several times, the problem kept happening. Parking isn’t ideal either. If you can’t get a spot near the lobby, you have to walk a long way to your car, and there’s no safe walkway back to the lobby.

A decent spot for a family staycation. The room was clean, parking was fairly spacious, and the service was good. The reception staff were friendly and kind. It’s right next to the restaurant and a famous bika ambon store.
