Giriwood Hotel & Villa

Having the free hotel shuttle to Ulun Danu Beratan Temple and Banyumala Waterfall was a highlight. We also arranged Nala as our driver on the hotel’s recommendation, and he was reliable, honest, and flexible with our schedule. The in-room foot and leg massage was excellent. Our deluxe room was easy to reach from the pool and restaurant, with few stairs. The scenery was beautiful and the staff were attentive, though the food was fine rather than memorable. We had a great stay and hope to return.

We spent New Year’s Eve here for one night and were glad to be away from the crowds and loud fireworks, while still having entertainment at the hotel. The buffet dinner was delicious and reasonably priced. Our villa had a balcony surrounded by nature, clean sheets, Sensatia amenities, and some complimentary food and drinks. There was an air heater available for anyone who found the cold uncomfortable. The next day, the hotel provided a complimentary trip to Banyumala Twin Waterfalls. It was a lovely way to connect with nature, and I’d recommend the stay.

The villa at Giriwood hotel and villa was gorgeous, and we loved the food and drinks as well. It’s a great place to switch off and take in the sounds of nature. So much care has gone into the details. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return for a few days. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

We’re spending a few days in a private villa, and the food and staff have been wonderful. The villa feels very new, with electrical outlets placed conveniently, and it’s comfortable for working or studying as well as taking a break. One small suggestion: larger cups in the rooms would be lovely. In this mountain climate, a big mug of tea after a long day out sounds especially good.
