We drove up from DPS airport for about three hours to get away from the crowds in southern Bali. Seeing the house from outside, we thought it was the first really beautiful one along the way, and it turned out to be the place we'd booked. It's gorgeous and very well looked after, though it's not the newest house and has some signs of age. That gives it charm, and the surrounding gardens are lovely. The rooms were spacious, had everything we needed, and the views through the huge windows were spectacular. The staff were kind, attentive, witty, and lovely to talk with. A sweet young cat hung around, and even though I'm allergic to cats, I enjoyed its charm. The price felt fair for what we got. Breakfast was just okay, but that wasn't a problem for us. There are quite a few food options nearby and a little farther away. The slightly isolated location has its downsides, but for us it was mostly a plus.

We felt at home right away, and the friendly staff did a lot to make our stay enjoyable. The setting is lovely, with rice field views, hiking trails, and waterfalls within walking distance. Bob was a great hiking guide, and Fitah came right to the accommodation to give us a wonderful Balinese massage. Thank you!

We stayed here as two families, and there was loads of room for all eight of us. The setting was peaceful, with great views, and the staff made us feel very welcome. We'd definitely plan to come back.

We stayed in the Hamsa room, and the place exceeded our expectations. In Bali it's rare for somewhere to look even better than its pictures, but this did. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, the WiFi was excellent, and breakfast was amazing. The staff were kind and helpful. It's a five-minute walk from Aling-Aling Waterfall, surrounded by rice fields, with the ocean on one side in the distance and mountains on the other. We visited in the off-season, so it was wonderfully quiet. The villa interior is worth a look too, with a unique mix of local materials that feels both elegant and cozy. The natural setting is stunning, and it was a perfect place to unwind and explore after hectic days in Canggu. We have nothing negative to say. Highly recommend this gem, and thanks to the staff for taking such good care of us! :)
