The staff were the highlight. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. The rooms are large, really clean, and have super comfortable beds. It’s a gorgeous, quiet place, and Grab rides to get around are very cheap. A trip to Icon for shopping and dining costs only Au $6.00.

It’s a very nice, modern hotel, and the staff are welcoming, helpful, and quick to respond on WhatsApp. I stayed twice, on separate dates before and after arriving in Denpasar. The second time I was sick and asked for an extra blanket and my dry cleaning. They took care of both without any fuss. A few things weren’t ideal. On my first stay, my room faced the staff area, so mornings and nights were noisy. That was a room placement issue, not the staff’s fault. The bath water took a while to warm up, which felt agonizing while I was sick. The property is spread out, so a room farther away can mean a long walk. And the lighting controls weren’t intuitive. I had to go around finding every switch to turn off each light, when one or two master switches would make more sense.

Harsono Boutique Resort Bali was a breathtaking place to stay. The service was excellent, the staff were incredibly friendly, and everything was beyond what I expected. I’d highly recommend it and will definitely return.

Dear Hotel Management Team, I know the hotel is expanding, but a project like this needs to consider the surrounding neighborhood as well as the property itself. It has been nearly a year since work began, and the disruption is now affecting my comfort at home. The front of my house has become a drop-off spot for construction materials. Project vehicles move around without much control, often revving their engines and using excessive gas, adding to the noise. Temporary worker accommodations have also been set up. I ask that the environment remain respectful and comfortable for the people who live here, since this is still a residential area. Materials are being left on the roadside without clear boundaries, and the lack of cleanliness and discipline from some of the project team is concerning. Please work more closely with the contractor: set clear working hours, create designated material storage areas, keep the area clean, and make sure workers behave respectfully. People who live here need rest. Hotel management should understand that comfort extends into the surrounding neighborhood. Good project oversight means planning carefully, managing time, setting boundaries, and communicating consistently with nearby residents to reduce disruption. I’ve worked in hospitality and managed projects myself, and I feel this reflects poorly on how the work is being overseen. I haven’t felt this uncomfortable in my own home in years because of a neighboring hotel project. I hope the team takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements. Thank you for your attention.
