Grand Kalimas Hotel Syariah by Zen Rooms

The hotel is very comfortable, and it sells tasty halal Middle Eastern food. Hygiene around the hotel could be better, though.

There's a good variety of food to enjoy nearby, and the surroundings are clean and pleasant. It's close to Ampel Mosque and the Arab Village.

Some things in my room were broken, and breakfast had so little variety that I preferred having my own drinks instead. The hotel felt badly neglected. I've stayed at several two-star hotels, and this was the worst.

Nearly an hour just to get a room, with rude staff and painfully slow service. Food choices were limited too. Worst hotel, and I won't be back.
