Kampi Hotel Tunjungan – Surabaya

There’s no pool, but the quieter spot in the Tunjungan area suited me well for relaxing after work. You can jog lightly or take a walk around the park in the morning. The hotel opened in December 2018, so the building is relatively new, and my room was well kept with the amenities I’d expect from a 3-star hotel. Breakfast had lots of tasty choices, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d recommend staying here on another Surabaya visit. This was my first time here, despite having been to Surabaya several times.

The room, food, service, and hospitality were all very good, thank you. But the Wi-Fi in my sixth-floor room only reached about 3 Mbps. I was here on a five-day business trip and needed reliable internet, so I switched to my own mobile data. Please look into improving it.

Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of variety. Chef Mr. Irfan came by our table, checked that we were happy, explained the ingredients, and shared his recommendations. He also showed a real interest in us as tourists and told us a little about Surabaya’s history and local culture. That personal touch made the stay memorable. After a long, tiring three-day trip to Bromo and Ijen, the peaceful atmosphere at Kampi Hotel Surabaya was just what we needed. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. Everyone we met was welcoming and kind, and service was prompt throughout. It felt warm and thoughtful, and we had a wonderful stay. I’d recommend Kampi Hotel to anyone visiting Surabaya.

I’ve stayed at a few hotels, and this one is the best. The room was clean, and I like the hotel and its surroundings. I’ll book it again when I’m back in Surabaya. I’d just like the Wi-Fi to be more stable.
