Bali Aroma Exclusive Villas

The room was awesome, with loads of space and an outdoor bathroom that still felt private. We had a private pool that was perfect for hanging out with my mates, and housekeeping even got a really bad stain out of my white shirt so it looked brand new :) On arrival, the friendly staff asked how we were and if we needed anything, and gave us a delicious iced tea. I can’t believe how good the value was! Highly recommended for a luxurious villa with super friendly staff :))))))

The villa was cleaned every day during our five-night stay. Our room was spacious, with a private pool and bathtub, and they provided mosquito spray. It was a bit dark inside, but otherwise all good. We only tried breakfast since it was included, and I liked the mi goreng and fruit platter. The location is handy for the beach and shopping, with restaurants and a shopping center nearby, and Grab rides are easy to find.

We had a terrible time and I do not recommend this villa. On our second-last day, management changed the locks without telling us, so we couldn’t get in and had to get a new key. The locks already felt flimsy, like a butter knife could open them, which made us feel unsafe. My sister and I were also frightened by a loud thump at 1am, as if someone had jumped into the villa, followed by something being dragged across the ground. Management said the next day it might have been a coconut, though there are no coconut trees. We were so scared we shared a bed for the rest of the trip. The all-male staff made us uneasy, and nearby villas played very loud music until around 10pm that we could hear throughout ours. There was no hot water in one whole bathroom, and when we mentioned it, they seemed to think that was normal. Mosquitoes were everywhere, including the bathrooms, bedroom, and outside. The bathrooms stayed wet and muddy, the villas didn’t feel clean and smelled musty, and rain soaked the toilets and paper. The only good thing I can say is that we didn’t get sick from the restaurant. Solo women travelers and families with children should not stay here.

Our kids called it the best week ever, and we wished we could have stayed forever. We could walk everywhere from these lovely villas in a great location. The staff were AMAZING, so kind and helpful. Breakfast was some of the best food on the island, and if there’s a storm, stay in for dinner because it’s amazing too.
