KoolKost Syariah near Kaza Mall Surabaya

I’d booked online because I was getting back late from work and needed to return the next morning. But when I reached the inn, it was already shut, and there was no warning in the online booking that it closed at 10 pm. I’d paid for a room that wasn’t available, which was a huge loss.

We stayed two comfortable nights. The room had strong Wi-Fi, cold AC, and they provided mineral water, towels, and soap. Its central location made getting around easy. One odd thing is that the bathroom is in the room but the toilet is outside. The bathroom sometimes smelled unpleasant, and the walls weren’t soundproof, so we could hear people talking or snoring next door, ahahah.

There’s no night guard, and the inn shuts at 10 even though we’d booked for the afternoon. If you plan to stay overnight, I’d look elsewhere. The management is unprofessional, and local residents have disapproved of it.

For backpackers, this was a very comfortable stay, thank God. The bed was comfortable, with a blanket and air conditioning, and the room was clean and smelled nice. There was no TV. The bathroom is inside and has hot water, but the toilet is outside.
