Luxurious and Relaxing 1BR Apartment at Prime Royal Residence

The stay was decent, though a few things got on my nerves. The bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way, and the Wi-Fi was terrible. I couldn’t keep a proper connection without getting an error after 10-20 minutes. The Wi-Fi was the main annoyance.

I’ve stayed here many times, and things are generally good. Please maintain the water tank better. Don’t wait until it’s empty before refilling it. Thank you.

At 350k a night, I don’t think this is worth the price. It could have been a good hotel if they took care of it and fixed things promptly. The lift’s button panel was broken, a socket in my room was coming away from the wall, and the toilet seat was missing some parts, as shown in the picture. The pool is advertised with old photos showing when it was usable, but it’s closed off now. Water dispensers on each floor were often empty, and they’re covered with cloth, so staff can’t see when the water is running low. On my last morning I checked floor after floor, and not a single dispenser had water. The receptionist boiled some water for me in her kettle instead. What’s advertised on hotel booking sites is very different from what you actually get.

The location works well for getting to Tj Perak, and there's good motorcycle parking. Laundry is nearby, with plenty of roadside food stalls too. It's an older hotel, but a decent staycation deal, especially for families using the pool. Adults can use it as well, though it sits in front of the first-floor room terraces, which may feel a little awkward. Breakfast was simple: rice, noodles, chicken, vegetables, fried tempe, green beans, coffee and plain water. They provide a jar and refill dispenser instead of bottled water. The mattress and linens could use replacement or better care.
