Mooi House by ZIRI

Dear Mooi House, I was shocked by how many basic things were missing from my room. There was no running water, so I couldn't bathe, wash my hands, or use the toilet normally. I contacted the front desk right away, but the response wasn't adequate. There were also no towels. House staff said they'd be ready at 7 pm, just as they had said the day before. Without them, I couldn't freshen up or maintain basic hygiene. There was no tissue paper either, which added to the inconvenience and made it seem like guests' needs weren't being considered. I was also without shampoo, body soap, and toothpaste or a toothbrush. Taken together, these missing essentials show a serious failure to provide basic hospitality and left me very disappointed. Please address this and prevent it from happening again, with better maintenance, staff training, and checks that essential items are supplied.

The room was clean, the decor was nice, and the service and location were good. We also liked having a smart TV for Netflix. But the internet in room 209 was so frustrating: both the Wi-Fi and signal were poor, and we struggled to get online or watch Netflix, let alone work. We'd first been in room 205, where Wi-Fi and signal were good, but moved because a bad smell from the drain spread into the main room even with the bathroom door shut. We also couldn't sleep well in the new room. The aircon blew right at us, so we had to move the bed, and the corridor light shone into my eyes. Maybe turning the bed around, with the head near the door, would help. The water heater only stayed hot for about half a shower, and it made a disturbing noise after the toilet was used.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bed was cozy. I stayed for about three weeks and liked how quiet the place was. It's clean, in a good location, and has cafes and restaurants nearby. I just wish there were a shower pod or something to keep water from splashing everywhere.

The room was clean, but I wouldn't choose this place again. With these prices, I expected basics like shampoo, toothpaste, a toothbrush, or a welcome drink, which I've had at cheaper hotels. The room also isn't soundproof. While I was there, a family with lots of children had two rooms and left the doors open. The kids screamed, ran around, and knocked on other guests' doors. I could hear the noise from the first floor up to the third, and I don't know why the owner didn't ask the parents to quiet them down. I couldn't sleep well. The Wi-Fi was unreliable too. Sometimes it connected, other times it was maddening, so I preferred using mobile data. Given the noise and limited service, I'd suggest looking for a cheaper hotel with more service and a quiet room. Here, I got less than what OYO or reddoors hotels offer.
