TwoSpaces Living at Kutisari Residence, Surabaya

At IDR 115,000 for a Double Deluxe Queen Bed Room, I found TwoSpaces Living at Kutisari Residence, Tenggilis, Surabaya to be good value, especially for a short, quiet stay. The atmosphere is very peaceful, though it may not suit anyone looking for somewhere lively. Smoking is banned in guest rooms, with a fine of about IDR 200,000 for violations. Smoking is allowed in the front lobby. Check-in only required ID, but the wait made the process lengthy. The two-story building has spacious outdoor parking and a pool with set hours. There’s a fee to use the pool, and swimwear is required. The room has air conditioning that gets very cold, a TV with a set-top box, and Wi-Fi. Free water refills are available. The room and corridors were clean, and the soundproofing was okay, although outside noise still comes through. Keys are manual rather than NFC. Amenities are minimal: two towels and two bars of soap. There were quite a few drawbacks. The lighting is dim throughout, the Wi-Fi is slow enough for little more than notifications, and the room felt damp, especially on the first floor. The towels and bathroom smelled and were still damp too. Hot water didn’t work even at the highest setting. Tissues were out of stock, and some furniture was broken.
