Hotel Trio

The room was lovely, with a great vintage feel, and the servers and room keepers were kind and nice. I got three free bottles of water each day, which was a bonus. I stayed four days and three nights, though, and the breakfast menu never changed, so having the same fried rice over and over got a little boring. The shower was another small issue: I couldn't really get it warm, only hot or cold. Still, I loved the place and think it's one of the best stays.

Breakfast is included, the internet was pretty steady, and the rooms and toilet were clean. There's a kitchen for breakfast, but I didn't see lunch or dinner offered. It's a dependable old-style hotel with standard comfort. The location is right in the downtown center, and feels safe, friendly, and convenient. If you're after a traditional hotel with an old-fashioned look, this could suit you. They have four main family rooms as well as standard rooms.

Right in the city center and near the mayor's office, the location is very strategic. The hotel is a Dutch colonial-era style building, very classic, and sparkling clean. It's managed well and has lots of classic photo spots inside. Even though it's an old hotel, the facilities are modern, with a flat TV, hot water, and clean white sheets.

The family room was spacious and clean, with air conditioning and a warm shower, and the price was unbelievably cheap. It's a rustic, cozy place near Pasar Gede. At first sight, it looks like a beautiful old Dutch colonial home, and booking a room in the old building gives you that authentic old Surakarta feel. I hope management sees the real value of this historic hotel and does more promotion and restoration work to help this beautiful old place.
