Lampion Hotel Solo

We stayed on a Sunday night and booked through Agoda for IDR 200.000,- nett, without breakfast. Our upstairs Deluxe Double Room was spacious, with a comfortable double bed, reading lamps, wardrobe, tables and chairs, mirrors, phone, sink, tissue paper, mineral water, kettle with tea, coffee and sugar, two towels, slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste. The bathroom was roomy and clean, with a Western style toilet, wall hooks, a strong hot shower, and liquid shampoo and soap. There’s also a shared water dispenser in the corridor. Free WiFi worked well, and the AC and TV reception were good, with free channels including MNC and Vision. The ground floor has a shared musholla. You can order a massage to your room, and hotel guests can order from the legendary Diamond halal Chinese restaurant next door. A convention center is behind the hotel. There’s plenty of parking in the courtyard and front yard for cars and motorbikes, and the staff were friendly and helpful. A few small snags: there was no toilet paper in the bathroom, ants got into our sweet drinks, and we found a mosquito in the bedroom.
