Villa Hati Indah

A peaceful, relaxing place in a real village, with lovely rice terrace views. The rooms are large and modern, and there are both big and small swimming pools. Seems well suited to families and groups.

We spent three nights here for a bachelor party. The scenery is lovely, and the place feels fresh and well equipped. Such a great little escape, we'd come back.

A heads-up for the drive in: the road gets very narrow, just wide enough for one car. Once you arrive, there’s parking for about five cars. Inside, the walls have local paintings, while the outside has a minimalist look. There are more than six rooms. Our room had two king beds, a sofa, and two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub. There was hot water and a TV too. The facilities include two pools, one upstairs and one downstairs, with separate Wi-Fi for each level. There’s also a home theater with a large LCD screen and 5.1 speakers, where you can play films from a USB drive or external hard drive. Billiards is available as well, with five cues.

We stayed at Villa Hati Indah for a week, and even with six of us there was room for ten. The rooms are huge and comfortable, and the pools, terrace, and home cinema were lovely. We also enjoyed the snooker. Waking up to the view across the rice fields each morning was a real treat. The staff were kind and helpful, and cooked some beautiful meals in the house. The spring rolls deserve a special mention! Dharma was a pleasure to spend time with, and helped us discover Bali. He had good tips and places to suggest, and after days out exploring the island it was always nice to come back and feel at home. It’s a quiet area with few tourists and mostly locals. Given the spacious house, friendly staff, and very good price, we’d definitely recommend it.
