The staff were friendly and service was quite prompt, but during my stay I didn’t see any other guests. The place felt like a “Hunted Place,” though it’s clearly a high-end property. The villas are good, but the property needs upkeep. The door locks weren’t working properly, the pool needed cleaning, and the doors needed polish. The sanitary fittings were dirty and needed replacing, the beach chairs should be replaced, and the ponds were really dirty. I hope the owner puts some money into repairs, because the property seems to be getting worse day by day and looks as though nobody visits.

The setting is lovely, and it’s secluded despite being in a fairly busy part of nusa dua. It’s a very quiet resort, though, with no facilities beyond a pool where ball games aren’t allowed. For that kind of stay, it feels like a lot of money. Management eventually responded well to our requests to change a few things, and we were upgraded to the next villa, the honeymoon one, for our last two nights. They also offered to find muesli for breakfast. I might stay again, but I’m not sure.

The room was clean, the staff were nice, and the pool was clean and just the right temperature. Breakfast was filling and tasted alright, though the quality wasn’t the best. The beach was dirty, with plastic everywhere. Food and drinks at the pool bar were overly expensive, so I wouldn’t suggest this place to people traveling on a budget.
