Arvanya Villa Ubud

The main drawbacks were the weak shower pressure and hot water that wasn’t reliable and lasted only around 20 minutes. There’s no food on-site, though you can order online. Otherwise, the room was spacious, clean, tidy, and practical, with a great view and a nice private pool. The bathroom is large, and even the toilet smells pleasant.

The room had space for our extra bed and still left room for prayer, which worked well for our family of three adults, a toddler, and an infant. We stayed two nights in the paddy-field-view room at Arvanya Villa Ubud, and booking it was a great decision. The Google photos matched the room we got. The property isn’t Halal certified, but we could request food without pork, including omelette and salads. The villa is quiet and set back from the busiest road, with paddy fields nearby for photos. Staff were friendly and helpful, and understood English well despite speaking only basic English. Our airport transfers were punctual, and the driver knew the way very well. We also rented two motorcycles at affordable prices; both were well maintained and in very good condition. A few things could be better: the ceiling and handheld showers had very low pressure, though the tap was fine; the soap didn’t lather, and the pool stayed very cold even on a hot day. Maybe a heating compressor could help with the pool. Apart from that, everything was perfect. We might come back. Thanks for the hospitality.

Such a peaceful, quiet setting, and we really enjoyed the service. It was a pleasant stay.

We came hoping for somewhere peaceful to rest, but instead the constant traffic noise left us stressed and unable to relax. A busy road runs right beside Arvanya Villa, a major detail missing from the listing. The noise was very loud throughout the day and night, and we couldn’t enjoy time by the pool. It completely spoiled our holiday. The photos and description gave the impression of a quiet retreat with jungle views, while the actual setting was the opposite. Leaving out something so important felt seriously misleading and extremely disrespectful. We would never recommend this place to anyone seeking a tranquil vacation.
