We had a smooth arrival despite getting in late, and the whole team helped with our bags and showed us around the villa. They helped again with the luggage when we checked out. We were there for nine days, three adults and two children, and the rooms were clean and looked after, with daily cleaning and a lovely garden. The villa is stunning, and the big pool is great, though a little cold for us. That wasn't a big issue since we had lots of day trips planned. Nyoman recommended his chauffeur Dhureck, who was wonderful on our trips. Even on outings of more than 15 hours, nothing seemed too much trouble and he was always smiling. Thanks to him and everyone at Villa Capricia for the care and service.

We were there for a month. The service and pool were good, and the rooms were okay, but the outdoor kitchen area felt old and wasn't clean. It needs some work. The villa is a long way from everything, with no warungs or restaurants nearby.

There’s plenty of space, but I didn’t feel safe here. A large amount of money in dollars was taken from a bag, and the police were informed. The owner did not try to help get it back, which made me suspect he might have been involved with the people who stole it. Be careful when dealing with this place.

The main concern was safety on the stairs to the second level. There’s nothing to hold on to, and the nearby furniture isn’t secured, so it could fall or someone might grab it and get hurt. Apart from that, our stay was superb. We had a great time at Villa Capricia, and the food was great too. We were a family of 16 at the end of May 2023, with 10 adults, four teens, and two kids. Pak Nyoman was attentive and cooperative. Breakfast was included, and since we wanted to spend our time at the villa, we asked Pak Nyoman's team to cook for us. Karaoke was available for a reasonable extra charge, and they also had billiards and a huge garden on the second level. Recommended for a big family or group of friends.

We were robbed, and USD 1540 was taken from our bags. They refused to return it. The rooms could be opened easily with a knife, and there was a moldy smell throughout, which felt unhealthy and unsanitary. It was a bad experience.
