Inang villa

The rice field view from our room was stunning, and the large glass doors kept the spacious room bright. The air conditioner in one room was awkwardly placed and struggled to cool things down on a very hot afternoon. I had to stand right in front of it to cool off, though the heat was probably the bigger issue. There were lots of large red ants on the balcony, which makes sense with nature so close. Give them space and they leave you alone too. We made good use of the pool, which is around six feet deep. Fresh towels were easy to get, and staff often replaced them before we even asked. The bathroom was roomy and clean, with a bathtub and hair dryer. Our villa also had the basics like a microwave, fridge, stove, TV, and air conditioning. Laundry was available for a fee, but there was no washing machine in the villa. The hosts and staff were kind, attentive, and quick to respond whenever we needed something. Breakfast was delicious, and there are some very good restaurants within a few hundred meters. The in house menu was good too. Inang Villa is a bit outside the city center, which suited us because it was quiet and away from the busy streets. Ubud traffic can be heavy, so the peaceful location was a real plus. Grab and Gojek were easy to use for getting around. We stayed two nights, and the place seems suitable for couples, families, friends, or people working from home.

Our stay felt peaceful and restful, thanks to the lovely place and generous service. The food was good, and the laundry service was useful. The rooms were impressive for the price, and the hosts and staff were considerate and very friendly.

Kadek and Putu, the owners, are truly some of the best people I’ve ever met. The staff were just as lovely, so helpful, warm, and gracious. I ended up feeling like they were family. Bali is known for kind people, and they still stood out. If you choose to stay here, you’ll be lucky.

Kadek was a lovely host and moved us to a bigger room, which was spacious and had everything we needed. The villa is quiet, and we had a great stay there. It is a little far from the main market, which can be inconvenient at night. We arranged to be picked up and dropped off by Nunuk, who was wonderful and helped us with every little thing. Getting a cab was easy, though the price was higher than we expected because we were supporting local drivers. A lovely place if you're after somewhere peaceful in Ubud, and I'd recommend it.
