The villa was beautiful, everything worked well, and the staff were attentive. It’s a lovely, quiet place. Just be aware that villas 1 and 2 share a connecting door, so they’re right beside each other and you can hear far too much.

The property is beautifully designed and close to nature, and the frontline team was genuinely warm. Angga and Kadek at the front office were especially kind, professional, and supportive throughout my stay. On my first night, the kitchen faucet gasket broke and water spread across the floor. Angga took care of it promptly and thoughtfully. My stay at Sarang Apartments was from 2-9 December. I’d first booked 2-7 December, then asked to extend in the same room category. Even after several confirmations, a different category I hadn’t seen or requested was held for the extension and later described as an upgrade with an extra fee. The price wasn’t my concern, but the room-category communication should have been clearer. Management could also use a better grasp of OTA systems and reservation workflows. Concierge replies were quick, though the steps weren’t always clear. A motorbike was arranged before I’d fully confirmed, and my number was passed to a third party without notice. Some tours and services offered through the property were around 30% above market rates and presented as exclusive, although guests can find the same services more cheaply. A more guest-centred approach to commissions would build trust. It’s a lovely place for a calm short stay, with comfortable rooms and attentive frontline staff. For longer visits or travellers who need clear reservations and straightforward communication, management and operations need improvement. Better alignment between the property and how it’s run could make for a much better experience.

Angga made our stay at Sarang Apartments memorable. From arrival onward, he was kind, helpful, and easy to reach whenever we needed something. He made sure we were comfortable and helped everything go smoothly. We had a wonderful stay, and his hospitality really stood out. Highly recommend!

Our evening was ruined, and the later offer of a 20% refund felt ridiculous. At 3 PM, check-in time, we were given a nice second-floor room that didn’t match the Airbnb photos, but staff assured us it was ours. We went to dinner with friends. When we came back and opened the door with our key, other guests were inside. Our belongings had been taken out without our knowledge and put in a staff storage room, while the room was given to someone else. Reception admitted it was a mistake, then offered a smaller, cheaper, smelly room on the ground floor, with no towels and AC blowing straight over the bed. That wasn’t suitable. Their only other option was a refund, so we had to leave at 9 PM and drive two hours home. Unacceptable service and no professionalism. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
