The Radian Villa Ubud

We were surrounded by quiet rice fields in North Ubud, and the villa made a brilliant base. Lovely place, and I’d happily recommend it to a friend.

We booked for three nights, but checked out after the first one. The rooms were filthy, with bedbugs and worms on the sheets. Five of us had to crowd onto the most "livable" bed, though we somehow slept soundly. The gates and downstairs doors stayed open through the evening, so the place didn't feel secure, and staff were unavailable. The photos gave a misleading impression. I strongly advise against booking this villa, and we didn't get a refund.

The room was dirty, and there was animal waste on the walls and sheets. I have photos. Lizards and other unpleasant creatures were around too. The villa felt absolutely filthy, and the front door doesn't close, leaving the place open even when we're away. Do not stay there.

The photos made the villa look quite nice, but arriving was a shock. It was an old place decorated with Merry Christmas motifs, and there were damp patches across part of the ceiling, along with lizards and cockroaches. Bits of something were sticking out of the peeling wood. I was disgusted by the lack of hygiene.
