Outpost Canggu

The friendly community was the best part of my 17 nights at Outpost Canggu. The staff were some of the kindest and most helpful people I’ve met, and it was easy to make friends with other guests. I’d happily return and recommend it for either a short or longer stay. The rates are affordable, and the whole experience was top-notch. My room was spotless, with frequent cleaning that kept it cozy. The internet was fast and reliable, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I loved waking up to the peaceful rice field view from the balcony. The location is right in the heart of Canggu, close to beaches, gyms, CrossFit, local and international restaurants, and co-working spaces. It made for a fun, energizing, productive stay. Special shoutout to the team for making my time there unforgettable!

The balcony view was my favorite part, a perfect place to relax. The pool was well maintained too, and they even set out board games in the shared area, which was a nice touch. The room and bathroom were clean and simple, and the bed was superrrrr comfyyy, trust me 💯. Staff were polite and helpful, and the location was convenient. It’s a great co-living spot and I’d highly recommend it to anyone around Canggu looking for an affordable price.

The only real highlight was the staff, who were friendly and helpful, like people all over Bali. Outpost Canggu feels dead, with hardly anyone around and no activity. The pool has mold around its edges. There’s just one small refrigerator for the whole building, and no desk in the room for working. They offered an upgrade for even more money after they’d already shaved off plenty. The little desks outside on each floor are lousy, and you’ll have to contend with heat and mosquitoes. I rented it in a hurry for a month and paid $2,100usd. There are a thousand places in the area that are much better and cheaper.

The place is in terrible disrepair. The towels were dirty, stained with blood, and smelly; the toilet didn’t work, and everything else was stained or damaged. It’s cheap modern furniture inside an unmaintained, leaky concrete shell. When it rains, expect leaking doors, loud noises, and other problems. The conditioner is literally watered down, and the soaps smell rotten. There’s mold everywhere. The owner needs to put money back into the property. You can’t keep taking revenue out without replacing worn fixtures, especially the cheap residential ones they chose.
