We only had one night here, but really enjoyed it. The lakefront sitting area is such a nice place to chill, and there’s a pond in front of the garden where you can catch fish. Two kayaks are available, and we used them to paddle around the lake. You can also pick garden vegetables for free when they’re ready. The room was clean and spacious, and the bathroom was ok with enough amenities. The Wi-Fi was good enough.

We especially liked the seating by the lake, with tables, chairs and a fire pit. You can swim and do other water activities on the lake, and there are plenty of things to do at Horas. The grounds have beautiful orchids and a fresh vegetable garden for guests to enjoy. Staff were welcoming and attentive. The rooms are clean and spacious, great for families and large groups. Excellent place to stay, highly recommended.

The staff were very friendly and kind, and the service was great. We stayed with family for two nights and had a great experience. The food was delicious, especially the roast pork with andaliman sauce. We could bring our own ingredients and cook there too. There are also activities like kayaking and fishing.

I felt at home during our three nights here with my parents. Everyone working there was super friendly and helpful, and the place was very clean. They cook really good food, and grow all kinds of vegetables and fruits. There are rabbits and chickens too, which I’m sure kids would love. The Toba lake view is good. It seems like a nice spot for families and honeymooners, and I’d recommend it to everyone, especially older people who can’t use stairs because access is easy. Thanks for the great management of Horas Family HOME.

Everything was effortless to arrange, from motoscooter hire and a boat trip to a car for our next destination. The hosts were attentive and the rooms comfortable. We loved the tranquil setting and the excellent food, both from the menu and by special request. A truly excellent small guest house, and surprisingly good value. Highly recommend 👌
