People bring karaoke and sing at full volume whenever they like. Maybe other guests don't want all that noise. I'd just avoid this place.

The price wasn't too expensive, and the hospitality was great. The atmosphere was comfortable and enjoyable.

I feel really distressed. Lake Toba is supposed to be a peaceful escape, but the noise here is deafening. Every night from 6pm until after midnight, karaoke blasts from the grassland outside. Then at 6am this morning, a big group started yelling and playing music through a microphone, even though they weren't big enough to need one. It carried on all day. I've been to quieter festival shows with 200,000 people. This place is driving me insane. 😫

I stayed at a nearby hotel, and I'm glad I wasn't staying here. How is loud karaoke after midnight followed by dance music at 6am acceptable? It must be deafening for guests.

There's hot water, and the bathroom was clean. The place is nice, with a direct view of Lake Toba from the front of the hotel. I took some photos here. If you're holidaying in Samosir, this is a nice hotel to stay at.
