I went out of my room to get internet access, since there wasn't any in the rooms, and left the door unlocked. A hotel employee had apparently been watching me for a while, then suddenly walked into my room. He seemed surprised to see another person there, apologized in confusion, and left. It wasn't housekeeping and didn't seem like a mistake. The whole experience was awful. Never again.

The rooms are old, but otherwise the stay was okay. Breakfast is simple and there's no Wi-Fi, so bring your own things like shampoo and a hairdryer. If you're coming by ferry, tell the boatman you want to get off at Toledo Inn. From the jetty it's about 3 km, and a ride costs around RP100k-RP300k depending on how many people and bags you have.

A lovely spot to relax in Toba. The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool felt very peaceful both during the day and at night. You can also go jetskiing, and there are restaurants nearby, easy to find.

The lake views are stunning, and the hotel is a cute mix of different buildings. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very clean. Just be prepared for a lot of stairs, going both up and down.

The room was huge, easily big enough for a round-table discussion, and had a balcony facing the lake. The balcony light didn't work, though, and the vintage furniture could use better maintenance. The staff didn't make up the room on the second day. Toiletries were adequately supplied, but the shower and basin need some work; the hot water worked well. Breakfast was decent but rather repetitive. Parking spaces are spread around the property, though still adequate. The hotel has direct lake access and is close to tourist attractions. The room rate was reasonable even in peak season.
