The resort is a bit remote. There’s a JFC and a convenience store across the street, but the main town center is a 30-minute walk along the road, and getting a Grab or Gojek isn’t easy. It wasn’t an issue for my trip because the resort has its own dining option, my dive center was nearby, and I had my own transport. I had a great stay at Hi Blue Bali Melasti Dive Resort on a previous diving trip to Tulamben. The rooms were spacious and clean, with ocean views from the bed and Mount Agung in the background. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodation quality was top notch for the price, though you trade a bit of accessibility for it. It would be perfect if the resort offered transport to nearby towns like Tulamben or even Amed!

The restaurant on site closes at 9, and there aren’t any restaurants within walking distance, so keep that in mind. We loved the resort, though: the rooms were spacious and well maintained, the service was really good, and the quiet location was very relaxing. The food was good too.

The pool right by the beach was amazing, and the food was great. We spent two nights here with our children, who really enjoyed it too, and we’d definitely come back. The place was very clean, with a comfortable, spacious room. The area is peaceful and relaxing, and we caught the most beautiful sunrise. A small convenience store is just across the street, and Amed is about a 15-minute drive away. The staff were really helpful.

It’s in the middle of nowhere, and that’s part of what makes this hotel special. The cabins are beautiful and comfortable, with a clean, deep pool just steps from the beach. The sea is calm and great for diving, with sunrise views on one side and Great Agung on the other. I especially loved the owner’s family Sisi and their little girl Zoe, along with the super friendly staff, who became such sweet friends to my little daughter. Thanks for the warm memories. See you again for sure 🫶🏼

The yard and room were super clean, and the staff were friendly. I ordered the beef meatball soup and really liked it. It was tasty and came in a big portion.
