Scuba Tribe Bali dive-resort

I booked six dives and a night dive, and that worked perfectly for the time I had. Esa planned each dive carefully, and they were amazing. As a newly certified diver, I felt comfortable the whole time. He even brought a camera on a few dives so I'd have some footage, which was great. I was traveling solo and felt at ease throughout the stay. The room was clean, with a big bed and AC, and housekeeping came every day. Everyone on the resort staff was kind and helpful, and so welcoming that I felt like a local, not a guest. Booking was helpful from the start. After my flight was delayed, I arrived very late, but they arranged an airport pickup and made getting settled easy.

The team is what made Scuba Tribe Bali feel special. Everyone was warm, kind, and caring, and I quickly felt at home, more like part of a little family than a guest. The live music nights were really good, too. After diving, the spacious, comfortable rooms were a lovely place to relax. The food was another highlight, with fresh, flavorful meals I looked forward to each time. The dive masters were attentive and gave very personal attention, one per person, which made a real difference. The equipment was great as well. A great blend of professionalism, comfort, and warmth. I'd happily come back.

The food was decent. I liked the Indonesian fried rice and noodles, and the banana pancakes at breakfast. The chicken curry wasn't really for me. Breakfast and lunch came with the package, plus a 40,000 IDR voucher each day toward dinner. I stayed in the four-person dorm. It was clean, and both the room and beds had plenty of space. I was comfortable there and met people from different countries. Booking a bed separately is about 30 RMB a night, and private rooms are available too. The diving schedule was flexible across the seven nights, so I could work with my instructor based on my progress and never felt rushed. I came to Tulamben, Bali last month for my OW and AOW certifications, and paid around 5000 RMB for a package with 4 OW dives, 5 AOW dives, 4 fun dives, and 7 nights' accommodation. For me, this was one of the best-value dive centers I've tried. Most of the training was one-on-one, with some sessions at 1:2 or 2:1. I really valued the small ratios for the extra attention and safety, especially compared with 1:4 classes. I highly recommend Mang as an instructor. He has over 5000 dives behind him, and was patient and professional. I'd picked him after seeing strong Google reviews, and he lived up to them. We practiced skills in the pool before going out to sea, which gave me more confidence. On a day with a stronger current, he pulled me along while we swam, which helped since my stamina isn't great. He also took lots of videos and macro photos for me, and treated me to coffee after diving. Such a nice person! ESA led my later fun dives. He has 3000+ dives and was kind and patient too. Those dives cost just a little over 100 RMB each, which felt like great value. I'd recommend Scuba Tribe Bali in Tulamben for certification training or fun dives: professional instruction, friendly instructors, clean budget accommodation, and affordable fun dives.

The diving here was a wonderful underwater experience, and the coaches were skilled and thoughtful. I liked the place a lot: the accommodation is great, the rooms are tidy and cozy, and the staff are super nice. The facilities feel complete and safe. Definitely worth staying.
