Adiwana Unagi Suites Hotel

The all-day breakfast was especially useful for us. With the time difference, we often got up late, and being able to eat whenever suited us made things more relaxing. We also enjoyed the pool, massages, and well-equipped gym. Adiwana Unagi Suites was comfortable and peaceful, with clean, spacious rooms decorated in Balinese style. The food was delicious, and the restaurant team were attentive and friendly. Many thanks to everyone there, especially Gede at reception, who also guided our excursion and made it more enjoyable with his knowledge and upbeat manner. Our whole family had a lovely time, and we'd recommend the hotel in Ubud.

The menu breakfasts were good quality, though after four mornings we were ready for more variety. That was a small drawback in an otherwise very enjoyable stay. The location worked well for us, around a pleasant 15-minute walk from central Ubud. We liked the pool, and there are spa and massage services. The gym deserves a mention too, it was one of the better equipped and higher-quality hotel gyms I've used. What really stood out was the staff. Every person we met was kind, attentive, and professional, with hospitality that could hold its own at top luxury hotels in Europe. They're a huge credit to the place. We'd happily come back and recommend Adiwana Unagi Suites.

The shuttle made the trip into the centre, where the market and palace are, easy. It's about a 35-minute walk, but the ride took just five minutes, and I used it a lot. The location felt central for getting around. I was travelling alone, so seeing a friendly face each morning meant a lot. The staff were great. Breakfast was good, and my room was huge, spotless, and comfortable. The pool area was lovely too. Had a fantastic time here.

Getting around took a bit of planning. There was a free shuttle every two hours, but the single road into town was usually jammed, so leave extra time at peak hours. The way back to the hotel was generally clear. WhatsApp was a quick, convenient way to reach the attentive staff. We spent five days and four nights here for our honeymoon. Drivers Esa and Kameng took us to and from the airport in about an hour and a half, and were welcoming. Gary handled check-in, gave us useful activity suggestions, and was friendly and knowledgeable. The calm atmosphere, tasteful sculptures, and view over a working rice field were lovely. It was interesting watching people work in the fields. Our room was tidy, and the wood furnishings seemed well cared for. Housekeeping were friendly and made towel art. I wish the toilet had a detachable shower head, as the rain shower was inconvenient, though shower caps were provided. We had one night of loud music from guests next door, which staff dealt with quickly. The other nights were peaceful, with geckos and frogs audible but not too bothersome. We chose the 'my sweet trip' package and had fun with the floating breakfast and intimate dinner. The upgrade felt worth it. Thanks to Novi from Ely’s Kitchen for the floral arrangements. We also enjoyed making offerings with Ratna on our second day. She was sweet and easy to talk to. The experiences at the hotel were satisfying, and Tejas Spa and Ely’s Kitchen helped us relax.
