The room was just as pictured, clean and tidy, with fresh air and no musty smell. The staff were caring and had the air conditioning on before we arrived. Breakfast was delicious, especially the banana pancakes 👌 Thank you.

The location, staff, and everything else seemed good, and the host was very friendly. But our room had mold and smelled really bad, so we had to check out on the same day we arrived. We got all our money back. A Dutch couple had already mentioned the issue in a review, and it should be fixed as soon as possible. In its current condition, a room with mold shouldn’t be listed on booking.com.

For what the room offers, it’s a fair deal. The main issue for me was the unpleasant smell when I walked in. Breakfast was good, though I’d have liked a larger serving and earlier hours. You choose your meal the day before, but service currently runs from 8 to 10am. I appreciated that they arranged an early takeaway breakfast when we asked in advance. The banana pancakes could use more than two slices of banana.

Pondok Vira is a great, quiet place, and Ubud center is a short walk away. Breakfast tastes very good, though I’d have liked larger portions. The pool is small but really nice. Highly recommend it.

A lovely little place with clean rooms, comfy beds, and a nice pool. The area is quiet, and Ubud is about a 10-15 minute walk away. Breakfasts were good, and the place was great value for money. I had a really nice stay and would definitely return when visiting Ubud.
