I spent two nights in a basic private homestay room right in the city centre. It wasn't fancy, but it was clean, the hot water worked well, the AC was fine, and the WiFi was okay. Lots of restaurants and shops are an easy walk away. If you're saving money or on a budget and have realistic expectations, it's good value for the price. I chose it for the excellent location and would stay again for the same reasons.

The owner and staff were very friendly, and breakfast had a good range of choices. The property was neat, and the house sits well back from the main street, so traffic noise wasn't a problem. The room and furnishings are a bit dated but still adequate and comfortable. Facilities are basic, but they were enough for me, and I had a nice stay.

The house itself was pretty stunning. The place is simple and modest, but neat and clean, with a nice owner, friendly staff, and a great location.

The sound of water running and birds singing made the place feel like paradise, and there were so many birds and lovely koi to watch. We planned on just one night, but the balcony room and the service were so nice that we stayed three days. We really didn't expect this much for the price and were honestly amazed 🤗. I'd absolutely recommend it, especially if you love birds and koi.

Breakfast was great every day, especially the omelet. The rooms feel like local apartments, with a decent amount of space and a veranda furnished with a nice table and chairs. The apartment seemed lived-in, but our room was kept clean.
