For the price, this small resort felt just right for a vacation. The rooms are lovely, air-conditioned, and serviced every day, with everything needed to feel comfortable. The pool isn’t huge, but it’s clean and does the job when you want to cool off. There’s an excellent restaurant with lots of menu options. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and always smiling.

The view over the vast rice field is pleasant, and we found the room adequate for what we paid. They have a small bike parking area near the entrance if you’ve rented a scooter. Check-in took painfully long. When someone finally showed us to the room, they discovered there was no power, so we waited another 20 to 30 minutes before we could get in. The staff were friendly and courteous enough.

The setting was beautiful and our villa felt like a peaceful little haven. It had a traditional open layout with a modern feel, lovely beds and bathrooms, and a pool the right size for our family of five. We also really enjoyed the restaurant food and the excellent service. There’s a free shuttle to Ubud, about 15 minutes away. The kitchen needed more equipment, including crockery and basic appliances. The sofa was dirty and uncomfortable, and the warped decking around the pool needs replacing. Even with those issues, we had a wonderful stay.

We were a bit far from everything, but the shuttle service was handy. We spent two nights in a private villa, and both the villa and staff were great. The floating breakfast is a must, such a fun way to eat by your private pool.

I stayed three nights in a private villa and had an amazing time. The resort has lots of space, with studio rooms, deluxe rooms, and villas with private pools. The in-house restaurant serves local and international options, along with some really good cocktails, and service is prompt with plenty on offer. It’s a great weekend getaway for family or friends. My one concern was how many lizards you’ll have for company.
