We planned on staying two nights but nearly ended up spending a week here. The family running the place were very accommodating. The beds were comfortable, the AC was cold, and the place is tucked away from the streets. Great value.

We couldn’t move rooms because none were available, even though ours was very dirty. The pillows had black mould, the mattress looked like it came from a dump, and the bathroom wasn’t clean. To their credit, the staff were nice and gave us a full refund. I can’t tell whether we just got a bad room or they’re all like that. We found another hotel in a good location for less money. They were also building something beside the pool at the time, so there was nowhere to sit around the small pool.

They really went out of their way to make the stay pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with elegant decor. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone visiting downtown Ubud.

The building looks old from outside, but the AC, water heater, pool, and toilet were all still in good condition. There aren’t any amenities provided. Breakfast has a very simple menu, though it’s delicious, and the location is close enough to downtown Ubud to get around easily. The price isn’t too high, and the service is really friendly. I’ll definitely book this bungalow again in future 🤩

It’s peaceful here, set back from the main street, and the staff are welcoming, kind, and helpful. We enjoyed the good breakfast and the great water pressure. The rooms have a humid smell, and the bathroom is just okay, but overall we had a nice stay and would come back.
