The only downside was the pool steps. The light inside them wasn’t working, and my wife hit her leg pretty hard on the concrete step. Better lighting and protective guards should be installed for guests. Apart from that, we were happy and would return. We had a lovely honeymoon at the resort. The room, view, and staff were amazing, and the staff were always friendly and available to help with anything we asked for. The hotel was in great condition. Of course, in Bali you can expect bugs and possibly ants, but the staff cleaned the room well and removed insects whenever possible. Breakfast was so good, with plenty of tasty options. The poolside view was top tier. I highly recommend booking a room with a private pool, it makes the experience much better.

The staff were so kind and caring, and it felt like they genuinely cared about our day and our happiness. We were asked about it whenever we returned. The place is quiet and private, and we hardly ran into other guests, which was a big plus for the more conservative stay we wanted. I’d heard there was an accident there years ago and worried the atmosphere might be dim and eerie, but it was actually peaceful and light. The location is amazing, within walking distance of many gems and only a 10-15 minutes drive from downtown. Set in the jungle, the views are breathtaking, while downtown and attractions are still close. The room decor is typical, so don’t expect ultra modern furniture, though it’s nice and comfortable. The private infinity pool facing the jungle was insane, I’ll be thinking about it for months :') There’s a tiny gym and limited breakfast choices, but it does the job since you can walk to nearby cafes. 10/10 recommend.

Ayuterra was in a great spot, just a short taxi ride from Ubud’s cultural markets and activities, so it suited a holiday with both relaxation and adventure. I came with my family and we were amazed at how well every part of the experience had been done. The personalised breakfasts each morning were unmissable, and the staff were consistently cordial and helpful. The rooms were beautiful, with private pools and jacuzzis, the food was brilliant, and the view over Bali’s forests was stunning. From the bottom of my heart, it’s the best resort I’ve been to. I can’t recommend Ayuterra enough.

The food was great, and we had such a lovely two-night stay in June 2024. My boyfriend had booked the royal one-bedroom as a surprise. It was spacious, nicely done, and had a beautiful view, plus its own swimming pool and jacuzzi.

We found the price quite high compared with other villas in Bali. The wildlife in the room was hard to ignore: lizards and other insects would be on the ceiling whenever we came in, which felt unsettling. A frog in the little green patch beside our pool also kept making noise.
