Belvilla Y Resort Near Central Ubud

It’s a nice spot on the edge of town, quieter and less busy, and easy to get to by scooter. There’s some construction next door right now, so we heard banging early in the mornings. It seems like construction is everywhere in Bali at the moment. Still, it’s good! 😊🙏🌸🏝️

We were there for four days, and the stay was good overall. The place is very handy for central Ubud and nearby activities. The main problem was the Wi-Fi, which didn’t work properly at any point during our stay. We told staff several times, but they never fixed it.

The pool and gardens were lovely, but the room wasn’t very clean. There were odd stains on my bed sheets, and the accommodation didn’t look like the pictures.

We had a clean, basic room with a nice bathtub, and the pool was clean and a good size. The grounds were very tidy and the staff lovely. Nearby work by the restaurant was noisy, though it wasn’t a big issue. The menu was very limited, especially for vegetarians. Our door lock broke while we were there. Staff tried to repair it while we went to dinner but couldn’t, so someone stayed outside our villa to watch our belongings. When we returned, they helped us move rooms. The customer service was really good. Bayus Kitchen across the road has great, cheap food and drinks. It’s about 10 minutes to the main street, or two minutes by bike 😊
