The garden was such a peaceful place to sit, especially in the cute, cozy bungalows. We loved the bean bag seating out front. Breakfast was delicious, try the banana pancakes. Yannik and his lovely wife made the stay special, and he helped arrange a scooter rental since it's not right downtown. They were warm and welcoming, and even invited us to join the local festival. We'd visit again if we're back in Ubud.

Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper, the neighborhood cockerel starts crowing after 4.00 am. The host and his wife are friendly and helpful, and he can guide you around. He knows the sights, things to do, and good places to eat.

The most helpful part was the very friendly staff, who seem to go the extra mile for guests. It feels like a family-run place. The rooms are fairly large, the beds are comfortable, and the amenities are decent. The surroundings are attractive too. One suggestion, they should put up a sign on the main road or somewhere to show where the place is.

This works if you just need somewhere to sleep at the end of the day. It's a bit outside Ubud, so without a scooter you may have to rely on the owner for rides. That can be a hassle if you like making your own plans.

The open air bathroom was wonderful, and it was the best shower I've had in my life so far. The owners are really helpful and offer lots of services. Hope to come back soon. Thank you, Yannick.
