We stayed at Casa Pohon Ubud in February 2026 and loved how it felt tucked away in its own little jungle. The wide views over the greenery, with birds and crickets in the morning and a cool breeze, made the place feel calm and restorative. The master bedroom has huge windows, so we could feel surrounded by nature while still being comfortable and private. The villa is spacious and made mostly from natural materials, with lovely, thoughtful details throughout. For our family, the layout worked well: the kids and our helper had a separate room downstairs. If you like a peaceful wooden villa surrounded by forest, Casa Pohon is a dream. We still think about the stay and would go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended. 🌿✨

The pool was dreamy, and my room was clean and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and I had the best massage right in the villa. I loved the property so much, it felt better than many five-star resorts. I’d definitely come back when I’m in Ubud again.

We spent the final part of our honeymoon at Casa Pohon in the Aruna room. It was peaceful and quiet, just the kind of place to unwind, and we’d definitely recommend it. The staff were attentive, and breakfast each morning was wonderful. The room was spotless and beautifully kept. We loved the natural light and waking up to the sun and nature around us. They’d also provided eye masks, a thoughtful little touch. The whole property is really beautiful.

The only small downside was the road. We checked with our private driver first, and it’s possible to get to the house, but it’s narrow and a tight fit. Everything else was awesome: a secluded private pool, wall-to-wall glass, and a location that felt wonderfully private. The staff were incredibly helpful and quick to respond. 10/10, I’d stay again.

Puput and the team helped me plan a proposal in Renjana, and they were discreet about keeping it a secret even though I’d been messaging on WhatsApp months ahead. They were so responsive and helpful, and the stay turned out perfect for us. Check-in was easy, with help for our bags, a welcome drink, and early check-in. We had massages in the villa, and the breakfasts were delicious. The surroundings are stunning, and getting around by scooter was easy. I can’t recommend it enough, and we’ll definitely be back.
