Right in the heart of Ubud, this is a lovely, calm oasis and a fabulous resort. The downside is breakfast. It isn’t a buffet, and the menu is limited. You order à la carte and it takes a while to prepare, so if you’re in a hurry, allow at least an hour at the breakfast restaurant.

The hotel facilities look old and could use a little upgrade, but the rest was good and I was happy with my stay. The staff were very friendly. The location in Ubud town is strategic and super convenient, surrounded by famous shops and close to good food. There’s also a good SPA.

The breakfast was incredible! There’s a choice of salad or fruit plate, then a range of hot dishes to suit different tastes, including pancakes, egg florentine, nasi goreng, and many more. I tried several and every one was delicious. Thank you! Our room was good and clean. We could hear the neighbours upstairs a little, but it didn’t bother us. The grounds are green and lovely, and it’s hard to believe they’re in the heart of Ubud. Parking was good too, which mattered since we came by car. The staff were kind and helpful and really tried their best, and they succeeded. Special thanks to Darmira and Linda, who were so nice. Everything was perfect. We’ll definitely come back ❤️

We loved the open-air shower, and the pool was divine, especially the swim-up bar. The food was delicious too. Big thanks to Gung De, Darmika, Mika & Yulia, who looked after us so well in the restaurant and bar. They treated us like old friends. Rama Phala was the first place we stayed on our first Bali trip, and it exceeded our expectations. We got a beautiful, friendly welcome at reception, the wait and bar staff were amazing, and the room was gorgeous. We’ll definitely stay here again if we’re in the Ubud area.

Although it’s on the main road, inside it’s quiet and serene, with hardly any of the outside bustle reaching you. The property is lovely, luxurious, and full of greenery. We stayed 4 nights and had an impeccable stay. The big, clean rooms and decent breakfast spread were great, and the staff were generous and courteous, always greeting us with a smile and going out of their way to make us comfortable. It really felt like a home away from home. I’d love to visit Ubud again and would definitely stay at Rama Phala Resort & Spa. Cheer.
