Dedeane Ubud

The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the place felt like good value. Still, the noise made sleeping tough. I'm used to noise after living in Vietnam for 10 years, but here I could hear footsteps, coughing, and even a neighbor opening the bathroom door in the middle of the night. It honestly felt as if there were no walls or doors. The first night, a man in a nearby house talked on the phone from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. We could hear every word, and he only stopped after we asked him. On the last day, a strong incense smell woke me early. I'm a smoker, but only have 1-2 cigarettes a day. I checked with the hotel staff before smoking outside and they said it was okay. One day a female staff member saw me smoking, said “Ewwww,” then turned around and walked away. I understand some people dislike smoke, but that felt unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. The place itself is nice and offers good value. If you're a very deep sleeper, it might be okay. If you're not, staying here would be difficult.

The staff were so friendly, and the teachers at the school were wonderful. Vegis was kind from the moment I arrived, and Tirta helped me so much. I loved every minute here. I'm sad to leave and will definitely come back. Thank you all!

A good deal for a few relaxed days. It's a yoga retreat renting out its empty rooms, rather than a regular hotel. The rooms are new, everything was perfect, and they clean daily. Breakfast is included every day, and scooter rentals are at a very fair price. You'll need a scooter since it's in the middle of nowhere, although there's one good warung nearby.

Such a beautiful, peaceful spot to take some downtime in Ubud. Everyone on the team was very professional, especially John. I'd absolutely come back 🙏🏻
