Den Den Mushi Guesthouse

Den Den Mushi is a family-owned and run homestead tucked into a beautiful, hidden garden. Each morning, neighboring roosters wake you at sunrise, then you can sit on the balcony for breakfast and quiet reflection. The flowing water in the colorful koi pond, sandalwood in the air, and occasional rustling of a monkey or nesting bird in a tree help dissolve your stress and thoughts as you take in their daily practices and offerings. Thank you, Wayan, for making my days worry-free, and Ketud for understanding what I needed and taking me wherever my heart wanted to go. It was a peaceful, welcoming introduction to Bali's gentle, traditional, open-hearted soul.

I liked it enough to come back for a second stay. The house is beautiful, the vibe is very chill, and it's clean. The host is super friendly and helpful. No cons.

The room was really comfortable, and everyone was so kind. We stayed four days in June, and breakfast came with the room, including delicious fruit and banana toast. They also picked us up at the airport for a reasonable fee. Thanks for everything 🙏🏻

We woke up to birdsong and the koi splashing in the pond just outside our room, with a cat softly purring nearby. The room was spotless and cosy, and Kadek Agus and his family made us feel very welcome during our three-night stay. They can arrange transfers, sightseeing, and even a Bali tattoo. We had lots of laughs, felt safe, and would definitely recommend it. Until next time 💜💚💛
